What I got for Christmas

I hope that you had a truly magical Christmas this year. As always I spent this Christmas with my parents and my younger brother, I've been feeling a little under the weather but it still was a great day overall. We give Christmas gifts to show each how much we love and appreciate each other. However the amount we spend definitely doesn't define how much we love each other.

This year I told my friends that I didn't want to do Christmas presents this year, rather I hoped that we could have a good time together and make memories for a magical and memorable Christmas. Some of my friends still bought me gifts even when I assured them that I didn't expect anything so in return I felt the need to buy them something to prove that I love them equally. It's now that I realise that giving gifts isn't as superficial as I originally thought, it's a reminder of the meaning of Christmas.

My favourite part of Christmas, other than the food, has always been a person's reaction when you buy them a present. The moment of realisation when their eyes light up, for me, is the best feeling in the world. Like most people, our family exchanged gifts this year and I got some really lovely presents. Here is a few thing I got for Christmas this year. I loved all my presents and these are just a few I've decided to share with you.
*The intention of this post is not to brag in anyway

MESTIGE Patterson watch. I think that was a classy present from my brother. You can check it out here

Benefit Besties gift set I love Benefit cosmetics and I was over the moon to get this set from my mum and dad.

Instax Mini Camera This was the biggest surprise of all. I have been wanting one for a couple of years now but this year I did not put it on my Christmas list so it was a lovely surprise

Little Mix Book and CD I love Little Mix and I love the vibe of this album. I've already started reading Our World and it's amazing. You really get to know the girls better and it shows how down to earth and normal they are.

I've been dying to get a pair of black suede boots for sooooooooo long as they're so versatile and I
grew out of my old pair. Thank goodness my feet no longer grow!

I hope you liked seeing a few of my presents and I'm truly grateful for everything I received including all of the thoughtful wishes.
Happy Holidays!
