Wind down time

  Source: Laura Conrad

If you are a student  you know that it's hard to escape stress: it's so important to take time out to relax. Stress is one of my biggest enemies so I've had to explore the best activities to help me wind down.

I know a lot of people love colouring books and there was a international craze but if you haven't tried it yet it's worth a shot. I have a couple of colouring books and they do help me relax.

I  also love lighting a candle and putting on some music. Buying a mini home scent is worth it. There are a lot of home scent with calming effect but I prefer the Seychelles one from The White Company. The ready made playlists on Spotify are great  and of course you could make your own. Sometimes I like to listen to records on our record player and I'm also a fan of SoundCloud.

Check out my latest playlist post to find out what I've been listening to.

As well as listening to music, I like playing my ukulele- it just helps me chill out. I like playing a lot of the music from my playlist. I'm not amazing at it but focusing on something else other than whatever is bothering me is a great way to decrease stress.

I always have a bath when I'm stressed. Green tea is one of my favourite calming scents so recently I've been using my body shop green tea gift set as well as assorted bath bombs. I love bath bombs that include coconut oil or argan oil as they're so moisturising.

How do you like to relax?
