Ten books for you!

As Easter break has just started I thought I would give you a few of my favourite reads to keep you entertained and off the electronics!

1. Geek Girl series- I know I ramble on about these but they are definitely worth reading. If you are looking for a funny, honest book these are the ones for you.

2.To Kill a Mockingbird- This book is a true classic and is amazingly written. Also Harper Lee, the author, has recently found the lost manuscript of the sequel: "Go set a watchman" so make sure before you buy that read up on Scout's adventures in this book.

3. The tail of Emily Windsnap- For younger or less advanced readers this is a fun story that you will get lost in about a girl discovering she's a mermaid, I remember constantly readings a few years ago...

4. Ballet shoes- This beautiful story of 3 sisters is a well known classic and has even been made into a movie with Emma Watson!

5. Dancing shoes- Once again this story is about sisters and dancing! But Hilary and Rachel's 'chalk and cheese' story is one to remember.

6. North of Nowhere- This book is written by the same author as the Emily Windsnap series, but this story is a little more in depth. This book is a time travelling story which is very thrilling!

7. Life in Motion- most people interested in ballet have heard of breakthrough ballerina Misty Copeland, this is her story of struggle and success...

8. I know why the Caged Bird Sings- This is the first of Maya Angelo's 7 autobiographies, she was a talented writer recognised worldwide.

9. Now we are Six- Technically this is not a novel, but A.A. Milne's book of poems has entertained and excited me for years. In case you haven't heard of A.A. Milne he is the writer and creator of Winnie-the-Pooh!

10. There's a boy in the girl's bathroom- This novel by Louis Sachar, the author of HOLES, tells the funny and touching story of Bradley Chalmers who has "serious behaviour problems' according to his teachers...

I hope you have a look at these suggestion and have a great Easter. Don't be afraid to leave your suggestions in the comments!
