My Top 5 perfumes for Teenagers + Giveaway

by - 22:42

I would definitely class myself as a scent enthusiast as I love to immerse myself in beautiful scents- be it perfume, candles, room diffusers...you name it. My love of fragrances is something I've definitely got from my mum. From a young age perfume has really fascinated me as my mum had countless perfumes growing up. Even if you ask her now what she would like for Christmas or her birthday the answer will always be perfume! Thus, I have developed a love for perfume too. I have acquired a nice little collection and I love all of them. I normally go to perfume shops or department stores and pick up samples of perfume but when it comes to buying them I purchase most of them on AMAZON because you get better deals there.

Here is my current top 5 fragrance for teenager. Some I own and others I have had samples of and loved them thoroughly.

1. Poison Girl by Dior: The Poison Girl Eau De Parfum is the fragrance of a modern-day girl. the smell is delicious and addictive. "A bitter-sweet floral with mouth-watering Orange that is delightfully swathed in Venezuelan Tonka Bean and blossoms in the biting sensuality of Grasse Rose." At £45 for 30ml, the perfume is a bit more on the expensive side but it will be worth the investment. I had a sample from House of Fraser picked up by my dad and this perfume is definitely on my wish list.

2.Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift: I am a fan of Taylor, however you do not need to be fan to purchase this. Often people forget to look into scents chosen by celebrities that they don't follow but it's definitely something to look into. This fragrance is much loved for its whimsical, yet somewhat traditional scent, which is beautiful for daytime. “Notes of freesia, apple blossom, honeysuckle, white hibiscus, golden amber and sandalwood blend together to create a youthful and fun-loving vibe”. This perfume got amazing reviews. My aunty gave me one two Christmases ago and I love it to the point that I am trying to make it last!

3. Vera Wang Princess: I got this perfume as a gift from my mum one Christmas. This perfume has an adventurous and mysterious vibe about it. “Its sexy scent includes a mixture of waterlily, apple, mandarin meringue, and golden apricot skin, dark chocolate, amber, musk, and vanilla.” It's beautiful for daytime wear – I can pretty much promise you will receive plenty of  compliments about the scent, I certainly have whilst I've been wearing it. And the price is not bad as you can get a 100ml bottle for under £30 and less than £20 for a smaller bottle.

4.Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture: Well if you cannot afford head-to-toe couture, this fragrance may be the next-best thing. I got a sample of this perfume from a beauty box and I was smitten.,“A fruity-floral blend, its notes include berry, mandarin, honeysuckle, gardenia, jasmine, amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and praline.”  Think of “posh and perfect” with just the right touch of sweetness. My mum and I practically fought over the perfume and the smell lingers for a long time.

5.Pretty by Elizabeth Arden: This perfume makes you smell fresh with a little fragrance just enough to turn heads. “The floral heart is surrounded by a mélange of fruits, wrapped in a well-rounded background of serene woods. And in its core is a unique floral ingredient, Petalia.” You can buy Pretty at an amazing price of £19.99 for 100ml. I am pretty sure you’ll love it as an everyday perfume.
